Review of a great budget option in Singapore.
The hotel is located next to a number of bus stops so it's quite easy to get around by bus. It's a good idea to use the public transport section of Google Maps to determine the bus stop to use as there are a few within easy walking distance. It is also possible to walk to Aljunied train station but this takes about 20 minutes and isn't the nicest walk along busy roads in the heat. 4/5 for good access to bus stops to get where you want to go.
This is a budget hotel so limited facilities are expected. There is free parking available which is a bonus and a 24 hour reception desk. It's a shame that there are no self service laundry facilities. However, tea & coffee and free drinking water were provided in the room. 3/5 for slightly limited facilities but as expected in a budget hotel.
Front desk staff were friendly. Initially they were reluctant to allow us to check in early but allowed it in the end. 4/5 as there was nothing to complain about.
The room and common areas were clean and tidy. The room was cleaned daily. 4/5 for cleanliness.
Rooms were basic and small but as expected for a budget hotel. However, tea and coffee making facilities were still provided. 3/5 as the room could have been larger.
Excellent value for money for Singapore. There are far worse hotels for a similar price. 5/5 - excellent value for money.
