Points Breaks was one of the best promotions offered as part of the IHG Rewards Club. It allowed members to redeem reward nights for as little as 5,000 points per night (although some hotels are offered at 10,000 and 15,000 points per night).
The new list of hotels was expected on 27th January 2020 but IHG have confirmed that the Points Breaks promotion will not be continued at this time. It is not clear if it has been cancelled for good or if this is just a temporary suspension but either way it is bad news for those waiting for the new list to be revealed.
Hopefully, IHG will offer a new promotion or even bring back points breaks in future but sadly it looks like there will not be any Points Breaks available any time soon.
